Can I use multiple databases for different collections of Photos.

I have around 50K Photos in around 10 sets of related photos. Can I set up 10 separate databases to to manage these sets? I thought this might allow me more efficient searches etc. I thought I might be able to save/restore databases but I am unsure about including just certain sets of photos in each database.

Hi

. . . . around 50K Photos in around 10 sets of related photos. Can I set up 10 separate databases to to manage these sets? . . . .

It is possible using the Save database and Load database options, however this, IMHO, would be time consuming changing databases to find a particular image or type of image(s) and a waste of resources and versatility that Photo Manager has in using one database.

Why not create a sub folder for each of the related photos and add the folders to the database. You can then search a specific folder or the entire immage folder to find all related images.

Thanks, John. The folder structure of the photos is as you describe. Being new to Photo Manager, I was concerned about DB limits and performance. I've had issues with some products I tested. The longer I play around, the more convinced I'll be OK.
