Can I Make Music With This And Send In A Demo?

I was wondering if I used some of the sounds and made them sound original if I could send in a demo to a record company. Would I need a license? I saw that you need the license for commercial use but I don't know if that also goes for sending in demos to major labels. Help? :)

Hi, I'd say just do it. Its not a commercial entity as a demo, and all rights issues can be redressed before any publication

This is a very grey area - I would suggest you contact Magix support and ask the question.

To quote a record producer friend - taking the works of others and 'making them sound original', then passing them off as your own creation is unlikely to get the outcome you would be looking for. Record companies usually require originality and creativity.
