I am attempting to burn a disc; correct file is in timeline, and I have previewed the file in the Burn platform. When burn is complete, it has burned a completely different file. I have restarted the computer, tried again, still burns the wrong file. I have burned a lot fo discs with this software, this is a first. Please help. Jim

I suspect you may have multiple movies in the same project.
Is the movie that is burned from a previous project?
You do not say which version of MEP you are using however - for versions up to MX - click the film reel icon below the preview monitor to see how many movies are in the project as shown in this image -
Yours will be named differently - the image shows there are two movies in this project - movie 1 and movie 2.
In MEP 2013 you will have two or more movie tabs above the timeline as shown in this image (4 are visible here)
If you do have two movies then the one not required needs removing, however if this is from another project, I would suggest you export the unwanted movie using File, Manage movies, Export before removing it using File, Manage movies, Remove from project
