Hi,

Did you read Help or the manual?

That button opens up the Burn mode, where you design your chapters, menus, etc, and choose burn types and disc media.

Hello Terry. Thanks for answering. The fact is, that button just doesn't work. The record and edit buttons next to it stay blue when clicked on, and can be actioned. I just wondered if I had missed something a bit obvious! But I can't see it. I may have to remove the program and reload it. But I don't want to do this if the situation remains the vsame.

Hi,

That does indeed sound weird. This happens even if you reboot then start a new MEP project with say just a single photo on the timeline? Presumably you already tried resetting to defaults? You've been able to use Burn mode before? Or is this your first attempt?

I think re-installation would be my next step. Although I'd seriously consider upgrading from that very old version!

Hello Terry. I have used burn mode before. I think I will re-install because it's no use as it is!

Hello Terry. Oddly enough, I've just had an email from 'The Editorial Department', which has reminded me to get on with what we were discussing. I have just removed and re-installed Magix and all is now working well. Thank you for your help.
