Which is the optimal burning setup (Photostory 2014) for regular DVD (NTSC) player  ? Why the PC is not recognize the burned DVD at all?

Thanks

Thanks John,

You was right. The quality of the bulk DVD (falcon) is week. The program default burning speed is x6 . I burned with 4. It shows a disk error. Finally the x2 speed produced the right quality. Thanks.

Hi

Assuming this was a standard DVD burn that completed OK with no errors reported then the most common cause of

. . . . Burned DVD is not playing on DVD player (disk error) neither on PC. . . . .

is the quality of the discs used.  Cheap discs can be very unreliable, certain well known manufacturers discs may not be recognised by all players.

To save money and avoid coasters - try writing to quality rewriteable discs first.  If the DVD needs changes, often happens you spot something on the TV, then you can re-use the disc.

Once you have a good disc that plays correctly then use DVD copying software such as Nero (paid for) or ImgBurn (freeware) to copy the rewriteable to DVD-R (do not need to use Photostory).

Once you have good copies which play OK you can then reuse the rewriteable for the next project.

If the above does not help, it would help us help you if you give more detail on the burn settings, disc make/type, DVD burner make/model and computer specification plus anything else that you think may be relevant.

HTH

John
