BPM Beats Per Minute 120 Default Not Displayed

frank-flores wrote on 12/25/2023, 4:17 PM

I can't adjust the BPM without importing a file first. 120 is displayed on every other Version of Magix since the land before time on Magix and every other DAW I have ever used. This is just another inconvenience the "newer" Magix feature that has gone. What next geez! Gimme a break! There are plenty of options for views, docs, and other features, but the onese you really need are a hassle to figure out!!! I'm gonna puke. What the hell happend to the Optimize track view. Now it is F12 !!! I will end up drinking bleach.

Pressing F4 makes it disappear and that ridiculous beat box shows up. I have to delete that silly toy of a beat box like a damn cockroach every time.

@frank-flores

Hi

. . . . I can't adjust the BPM without importing a file first. . . . .

Works fine here.

Double click the BPM value, type in the new value and then press the Enter key

If this does not work, then what is your computer specification, see this topic for what is required, and is this a laptop?

If you want help then please provide the information requested.

Not a laptop and 2023 works just fine. 2024 does not display BPM

frank-flores wrote on 12/27/2023, 11:57 PM

All that shows is the metronome and drop down arrow

This is what I see for a default "New" project.  [MM2024, v32.0.2.11]
(I changed the BPM just to confirm that that works for me.)
.

How is yours different?
Can you show a screenshot of what you see?

Hi

. . . . All that shows is the metronome and drop down arrow . . . .

This would suggest that the Arranger pane is not wide enough to display all the controls of at the bottom of the of the pane as shown below

What is your monitor resolution - if this is below 1920 x 1080 it may not display the full interface and you may have to remove/resize some panes or redock them to a different layout.

What is the installed graphics card make/model there may also be an issue with this?
