BluffTitler has come out with a new BixPack of Stingers to be used as transitions in video editors. Of course, they are fully modifiable, including the duration, and in 3D. You export from BluffTitler as an AVI file with transparency, and import onto the timeline on a higher numbered track than background. Place the centre of the imported file at the location of the interface of two clips where you want a transition.

The BT transitions go from the transparent part to full screen, thus opaque at the centre, then animate out, as shown in the quick transition below:

The JCB logo was actually made using Xara 3D Maker (opened from within VPX 3D Title templates), exported as a GIF and imported into BluffTitler.

I went for this pack because I saw the potential of using some of the Stingers as transitions during the credits part at the end of my videos where I show images of each of the principal actors (family and friends).
