Finally got the license to upgrade to MMM 2025 Premium, and one thing I noticed is automation appears to be missing? At least, it isn't where it used to be in the track buttons. Has it been moved to some other menu or removed entirely? Also, I know there is still "automation" under the Effects drop down, I can't get that to do anything for me.
Not what I'm looking for. I mean actual automation, like for triggering different changes in VSTs.
@ParadoxMM The Effects menu entry only works if you have objects on your track selected. And then you need to click the Enable checkbox in the dialog.
You might be able to automate VSTs via your MIDI controller or the MIDI Editor, if they have the option to bind CC inputs to knobs, faders etc. Magix Vita Instruments available in the in-app-store can do this via right clicking on a GUI control.
Besides that, there isn't any other automation in Music Maker, except maybe changing effects by hand while recording the audio output, and I don't think this was any different in the past. For "real" automation curves you need Samplitude (Music Studio).
