Forgive me for a dumb question but I cannot find the option to open the last used project. Using magix studio suite 2023. I've looked in the help files, online, forums and cannot seem to find it. I know this should be easy but I am truly stumped .... Maybe I'm going blind. Looked in settings too.

@Thomas-Brent Hi, in the File option at the top you can open a saved project but MMS doesn't have a 'Recent used' list except when creating a new project
Or you can right click the icon on the Taskbar
Hi Tom and welcome to the user to user forums.
That's because Magix Movie Studio 2023 doesn't do that. It is a totally different program by a different set of program developers than that of the Vegas Movie Studio past versions. That is why the layout and workflow and capabilities are so different.
Instead you should get a list of up to your last eight created projects to chose from. The most recent being at the top of the list.

Thank you for your answers. The 2023 suite does have a "recently opened" now but I was hoping for an automatic one. Having used Vegas in the past Magix suite does more for me and in some cases it's a little easier.. The learning curve I think is a little easier too. I just decided to upgrade to magix and so far its been a good experience...

On my machine at least the current program opens and loads the project from the drop-down list faster than my Vegas programs take to initialise and open so although an extra step, it is still faster to load.
