Audio & Video out of sync when burning a DVD

Audio & Video out of sync when burning a DVD.

I'm burning 4 MP4 files in a row, each about 2-3 minutes long,

In the editor, all 4 look/sound great, but when I burn a DVD,

#2,#3 & #4 are out of audio/video sync (#1 is fine)

I've worked with the Audio & Video offset menu (plus/minus a frame) in the past on

other edited files, but I don't think this is the problem, since it looks/sound great in the editor mode.

I have movie Edit Pro 17 plus, Win XP Pro, lots of disk/RAM

This is a known bug in MEP17.  Load the program, go to the help menu and download the latest program updates.  This issue was fixed with update 10.0.10.1.  I think they are up to version 10.0.12.1 now.  Also, to ensure everything is in sync, when you are satisfied with the timeline edit, and are ready to burn, go to the edit menu, click select all, then right click anywhere on the video timeline and select reframe (at the top).

Then burn away, and enjoy your video!

Good luck and happy editing!

Outstanding!

I know how frustrated I got trying to solve this issue.  I made many "coasters" trying to burn one that didn't have sync issues until I discovered the solution.  I glad I was able to help.

Best,

Jeff
