Not a lot to go on - please read this topic then come back with more information including:

  1. Software full name and version number as found under Help, About . . . ?
     
  2. What type of audio I/O are you referring to - make, model and connection type?
     
  3. What is to be connected to the audio device?
     
  4. Are your recording vocals, instruments, etc?

Zoom H4N ex first generation--for anolog audio of I to 2 Chanel's

Of vocals ---have Allred followed the zoom instructions on page 33

of there manual-to Activate it to the HP Laptop----thanks

Assuming you are wanting to use the Zoom for live recordings:

  1. click the button indicated in the image below
  2. the Zoom should appear in the drop down menu (circled)

If the Zoom does not appear then it is likely that the drivers installed are 64 bit, you need 32 bit drivers for Music Maker.

Existing recordings, mp3 or wav, on the Zoom can be copied to the computer using Windows Explorer, the Zoom should appear as another drive.
