Audio Engine Initialization is Suddenly Taking a Very Long Time

I recently updated several Magix software packages including Sound Forge 16 Pro. Since I did this, the audio engine initialization is taking up to a minute to load. Before the updates, this was just a 1-2 seconds. What can I do to fix this? I've tried reinstalling but that didn't help any.

I have read in other posts to try Hold CNTRL + Shift and double click on the Sound Forge startup icon.  It will ask 'Do you want to reset all Sound Forge Pro preferences to default values?  You should check the box that says 'Delete all cached application data' and then click 'Yes'.  Then try again to open the program.

Or factory reset under file menu?

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, neither helped. I also did an uninstall, delete of all sound forge folders in appdata and program files and reinstalled. That didn't help either. I suspect the last update is causing this.

I do not recall reading of this issue with the lasted 16.1.2 build 55. You can try
Uninstall / reinstall again, but use a third-party uninstaller like 'Revo Uninstall' that can remove the left-over registry entries and other pertinent data the OS uninstall leaves behind, which are often the root cause of issues to reoccur.. Revo Uninstall has a pro and freeware versions. The free version is adequate in most cases,
