Audio Cleaning Lab Audio Drop Outs - possibly limiter problems

Don_music wrote on 2/3/2012, 12:24 AM

My music has drop outs at various points.  If I go back a second or two and replay it does not do this.

I clicked on the limiter and it appears to be off,  but the same keeps happening.

These are not all at low volume locations but relativly the same as just before and just after.

I'm editing mp3 music that I have recorded from many old tapes.  The mp3 files play OK with Windows

Media Player before trying to clean them up.

In addition when using vst plug-ins that boost frequencies harmonics or volume it appears to happen

more often.

Can any one help ?
