Audio Cleaning Lab 3 available after Mac OS upgrade?

KJB wrote on 3/1/2021, 11:14 AM

Hi all,

I use a 32bit version of Audio Cleaner Pro on my Macbook.
Today I upgraded my OS to Big Sur 11.2.2, and now I have to upgrade Audio Cleaner
- but it seems there's no 64bit version.

So I've been looking at Sound Forge Audio Cleaning Lab 3 - it looks so much better,
but is there a Mac compatible version?

Not sure what to do. Should I revert back to my previous OS?

Any advice would be welcome.

Thanks
KJB

@KJB

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

No, Sound Forge Audio Cleaning Lab 3, although it is 64 bit, is for Windows only, sorry. If you wanted to run it on your MAC, assuming it is an iMAC, you would need to install Bootcamp and a full version of Windows.

Hello, Welcome

If you were happy with 32bit previous version of Audio Cleaner Pro, you could revert to older OS, you could also Google for alternative options for the Mac with your current OS. @emmrecs advice on installing boot camp and windows install is a great solution for future proofing and gives you better options.

thanks both,
I think I'd better revert back to my previous OS and stick with what works - for now.
Until Magix decide to create a Mac-suitable edition of Cleaning Lab 3 that is...
Cheers for the support
