Hello,
In case the photo is not clear (I am an appalling photographer) these two devices are audio/video capture devices with RCA (aka phono) connections on one end, and a USB connection on the other end. I have these two devices and they were very, very cheap I doubt they will make any difference.
My question to those with experience, which type of connection is better to use on the PC's side, an analogue to digitial converter like the above two (although I expect them to do a very poor job because they were very cheap), or a 3.5 mm (aka mini jack) in the microphone port on my laptop when digitizing audio from my old cassette tapes? I am currenlty using the stereo RCA line-out ports at the back of my cassette player.
NB. I am using the microphone port and not the line in because my laptop lacks a line in port.
