Audio and video out of sync since the addition of a Samsung HDMI-connected HD monitor

Running movie_edit_pro_mx_plus.  It was working until the addition of this new 1920 x 1080 @ 120 Samsung tv/monitor.  With a regular DVI-connected 4:3 monitor, I could get the program to edit my captured programs.  Now all of a sudden there is no audio sync, with several seconds of difference between the audio and video.  I tried a repair, tried uninstalling and even wiping out the files in Program Files x86 and the Documents folder but to no avail.  Help somebody?

Hi

Is everything OK when you revert back to your old monitor?

Which version on MEP are you runnng and is it patched up to date?

More information about your comuter would be useful amd have you made any any other changes to it?

John

At this point I have no idea if the monitor was the culprit.  The captured movie or program would play fine with CyberLink, or ArcSoft viewers, or even Windows Media Player, and with nothing out of sync.  Somehow MEP got corrupted to where even a repair install and uninstall/reinstall did no good.

I finally went into the Registry and pulled MEP out by the roots, deleting everything remotely linked to it, then did a clean install plus update (11.0.5.0).  At the present it's working ok once more.

System specs aren't anything heroic (no OCing or anything like that).  Win 7 x64, Core i5-760 Lynnfield, 8 gigs of RAM, 850w PSU, RAID 10.

Say, I don't suppose Magix has a deep-level uninstaller, does it?  I don't mean the file cleanup thingy, but something that will go into the Registry and delete evey last bit ever placed there, plus all folders and filles on the system's drive(s)?  Sure would be nice.........
