audio and music lab premium running slow. Why?

michaeljennings42 wrote on 10/30/2016, 12:34 PM

Audio and music lab premium is unusable due to the delay from mouse command to screen action. (Up to five seconds) I presume the program is so large that my computer cannot process it, yet thse delays do not occur on video streaming programs or on previous versions of audio cleaning lab. Is there any part of the cleaning lab that can be turned off? would that help?  I don't need the video part of it, or the internet stations. I've tried uninstalling and loading it in again, but to no avail.

thanks

Hi Michael,

I am not having the same problems. What is the patch number? I have 22.2.0.53, 16 GB RAM. Even with some other programs loaded, I don't find any slowdown.

I have a 73MB wav file loaded. At rest, it's using up 2.5% of the CPU; the program takes 258.8 MB. Running the file with a few effects, I get up to 7.5%.
