Anyone know how to solve burning error? (Says "mda reports DVD image creationb error 84007f5")

I have been trying to burn my video project for two going on three weeks now. It keeps telling me this --

"mda reports DVD image creation error 84007f5"

I have downloaded the burn routines, I have tried DVD-Rs as opposed to DVD+Rs and even transferred everything to a different computer. Same result over and over again. I have burned projects in the past and had no problems. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? I have looked on the Net and noticed that others are experiencing similar problems and no answers from Magix. This is very frustrating.

Have you also sent the previous and this error log with details as posted in the forum by email to support at Magix?

No. If I cannot get help here I am going to try the phone support when I get paid next week. It is obviously a major problem that someone is going to have to spend time with me on to solve. Thanks.

Hi,

I'm afraid this is a question rather than an answer. Have you got any further with a solution to this problem? I've had the same error message with one of my projects although I have the Video Pro X3 software. I've tried recoding it into MPEG and MPEG 4, have removed any image files and music files imported for the DVD menus and have also tried re-doing the project on a different computer but nothing seems to work. I've also tried the Magix technical support via e-mail but all they've suggested is to recode the movie file as encoding errors can be due to specific problems with the movie file itself.

I've only previously burnt 2 projects one of which had coding errors (can't remember specifically which) but I was able to ovecome this by recoding the whole movie as MPEG or MPEG 4 and reimporting the file so it could be burnt to DVD. That solution won't work for this error occurring with my project though. Thanks
