Hi,

If I'd just replied 'Yes' would you say that was sufficient?

Couldn't you have given us a bit more to go on? What MEP version are you talking about? What version was it in before? What does the arrow look like and what is the animation? Why do you refer to it as a 'travel' arrow?

Here's a summary of all 5 animated pointers I have in MEP 2013 Premium Plus:

hmmm...I am a web guy but could not figure out how to respond in the forum format.  Ok, thanks for your answers guys.  I have no idea what version it was but it was similar to Imovie where you would input one location and then your destination location and a white arcing arrow would start at point A and arc to point B.  I guess if none of you are familiar with this then I guess it must not be in the program.  The current  travel animated is clunky at best and pretty lame.  Not sure if there are 3rd party plugins that work with this program and is there one for doing a better travel animation?  If not, then I would consider this topic closed.

Eh? That looks like you missed fishycomics' reply a little earlier - yet you said 'thanks for your answers guys'.

Anyway, OK, so you're talking about the Travel Animation Wizard. Your reference to an arrow threw me. (AFAICT the symbol options in MEP 2013 Premium Plus don't include any sort of arrow.)

The current  travel animated is clunky at best and pretty lame.

Do you mean MEP 2013 Premium Plus? If so, does that imply that you have now found and run it?

Could you clarify why you think it's 'pretty lame'? I've rarely used it because for my family holiday and local walking videos I prefer to roll my own with KFA and prepare my own maps. But trying the latest version just now it seemed pretty good to me for a quick trip illustration. It took me about 10 minutes (including re-learning time) to create a simple example of a UK car journey with 6 waypoints, a fraction of the time I'd spend doing it my way (albeit with a more satisfactory visual result for my purposes).
