Animated intro

Shar wrote on 4/30/2023, 3:37 PM

It appears in the basic animated section but I am unable to add it to my timeline. I must be doing something wrong. I also would like it to say what I want rather than Intro. I do the arrow to download but it won't let me put it in the timeline. Says it is free. HELP please. I have Magix Movie Edit Pro. Just purchased and downloaded 2 days ago.

@Shar Hi, I don't have that Animated intro, I don't think so any way but using the 'S' at the beginning of the tracks you can 'Solo' the tracks & identify which is the text track, double click on that track once you've found it & the Title editor will open, or you can highlight that text track (it goes brighter yellow) & open Title editing from the menu in the Effects tab,

You can upload pictures using the arrow button next to the smiley at the top of a new comment.

You can ungroup this Intro if you want & move things around or swap things like I have with these trees.

@Shar

Hi,

Not sure what you mean. If you mean that you are trying to import an Intro template to the timeline, you first have to have something - photo or video - on the timeline and selected. Then try importing the Intro. If you also want an Outro, you have to have a separate object on the timeline or at least a break in the video clip, if there is only one, and selected.

Thank you both - I appreciate both of you for taking the time to help me with this. Thank you also for the screen shots. Still learning my way around this program. 😊
