Analogue Modelling Suite Plus Setup - Error applying transforms

Installer downloaded today (February 13, 2023). When running the installation, message is displayed:

The installation package could not be opened.

Cause: Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid (1624)

File path:

C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp\mgx0sey7x6j\product\Analogue_Modelling_Suite_Plus_setup_x64.ms_

File DOES exist.

@James-Tuksal Try to temporarily disable your firewall or Windows Defender or Smart App Control if you use Windows 11. Maybe there is something blocking the installation.

This usually means there is a mismatch of files or missing files for the Windows installer in the Windows installation.

See this tutorial and do steps 3 - 11 only, then try the install again.

Hi, I've tried this and have also turned off all anti virus related things and am still getting this error, what else is there to try?

I would suggest you contact Magix by email to infoservice@magix.net, this is either a Windows installer issue which the procedure, I linked to above for the OP, cannot fix or an issue with the download.
