additional features not downloading

I just downloaded magix movie maker 2016 premium. when I tried to edit a file mov and mp4 it keeps telling me to activate codec online when i try it wont let me how do i fix this

If you are running the trial version then some features are not available, this includes the some of the codecs

If you have purchased the full version and installed all the extras and cannot activate, check your firewall is allowing MEP through to the Internet.

If you use an alternative browser to Internet Explorer then try running IE once to set it up for Internet access.
