When you add a text title, it shows in the preview monitor... you should see a highlighted area, you just type in your title, press the checkmark to accept.

Then you will see a sectioned off area with orange handles, if you grab one of the handles you can resize it, if you want to move it, you can click in the center and drag it to the location you want.

At first this was clumsy to me, but now, its delightful, so much easier and with more precision than the old way.
