Hi, nihon94!

Thanks so much for your help.

The soundpool I bought didn't come in a DVD, it was a download soundpool from CATOOH.com. However, I have understood that the only way to add styles to MMM's soundpools is only thru the DVDs they sell (Am I right?)

Do you know if there is a way to add some external soundpools (like those from CATOOH.com) so that they appear within the current styles and instruments that appear in MMM? The only soundpool and styles I have are those with the download version of MMM.

I hope I make myself understood.

Hi,

Yes if you Puchased from Catooh there is a posssibility they can be added as Styles in Magix Music Maker.

First, I guess if you have purchased a full soundpool dvd it will be larger and therefore could be divided in to parts. if your downloaded soundpools are in a Rar or zip files then you have to join all togther.

Try to find any file which is the first or No.1 click the extract from your zip software or rar software while you click all other downloaded files must be in the same folder. Rest will be added automatically.

Final shape of folder will be like this example

Soundpool dvd 10 (main folder)

inised it

Ambient

Hiphop

Techno ect

also it will include BPM inside each Styles without this it will not work as soundpool. Save this folder somewhere so you could easily add in Magix. Open Magix Muisc Maker, click on add styles and it will be added in the Library like rest of styles you got.

Or if you could also tell me when you downloaded were files in zip or rar?

are they in serial such as xyz-1, xyz-2, xyz-3 and so on?

Do you got a software to extract files such as rar or zip?

If you could tell me the Soundpool DVD name that will be helpful?

I am sorrry writing it in a hurry , in case of spell mistake sorry.

Thank you

Hello, again!!!

I have to correct: I just bought one "style" call Dubstep Vol. 1 from CATOOH's site. I mistook it for a whole soundpool.

The style was in a .zip file (dubstep_vol_1.zip), containing a root folder (Dubstep Vol 1) and within the folder, a BPM file (BPM.inf) and the instruments' folders (Bass, Brass, Drums, Fx, Pad, Sequence, Synth, Vocals), each onw with its .OGG files. Nothing more.

dubstep_vol_1.zip

/Dubstep Vol 1

-BPM.inf

// Bass

--Addiction 1.OGG

--...

//Brass

--Louis 1.OGG

--...

//...

I unzipped it with WinRAR (never had problems with it) in a C drive folder and used the "add styles" feature several times, cleaned up the soundpool a couple times, reset it too, but nothing served to add the style to the current styles in the soundpool (it never appeared in the styles selector).

I reaaally appreciate your help.

Thanks so much,

Henry Mauricio

hi, nihon94!

Thx so much for your help.

I used your advice #2 too and it worked. I renamed the Dubstep's folder to Hardstyle_2 Dubstep Vol. 1, so I could remember the style, and added it to the soundpool and it shows now in available styles.

Thought this operation finally make the soundpool work, I dont really think it's the REAL/ACTUAL solution to adding new styles that don't show up in available styles.

I really appreciate all your advice.

Regards,

Henry Mauricio
