Add-in for guitar effects

Is there a downloadable add-in where I can input more effects on my guitar? Perhaps to work like a guitar synthesizer where my guitar will sound like a violin or a flute?

Here you´re gonna find VST plugins for free like virtual amps including FX and also you´re gonna find audio triggered synthesizers that you can use with your guitar.
