Hi

Uninstall MEP 2014 and remove any folders left behind relating to MEP 2014 that you find in the following folders:

         c:\Program files (x86)\Magix\

c:\ProgramData\Magix\  -  this is a hidden file so you may need to set Windows Explorer to show Hidden files.

Then follow instructions 1 - 12 in my post here

Check that Microsoft Edge connects to the Internet correctly.

Install MEP 2014 and register / activate.

If you have exceeded the allowed number of activations then email support at magix.com and ask them to reset the activation counter, give reasons why you need it resetting.

. . . . Put me off buying magix software for good. . . . .

It is changes in Windows 10 that has caused the issue not Magix

HTH

Hi all

Gone back to windows 7 due to problems with windows 10 being so slow and buggy

since my last post have now upgraded to magix video pro x 7 enjoying this upgrade but there is a small issue when playing video project on the timeline sometimes minor choppyplayback on preview only, spent a week with magix support  trying to resolve this issue.they could not find why this was happening as my magix movie edit pro 2015 works perfect still installed on the same pc.This is not a big issue as once its rendered the video playback is smooth ,hope at some stage there will be an update  patch for this  .

notice that microsoft now has new iso download to fix several issues, has anyone found it worth upgrading to  windows 10 with the second edition relesed only this month november 2015?

my only worrie is that the last time i upgraded to win 10 had issues registering and activating magix software, dont want all to stop working and wait for magix to reset activation.

Must thank magix support team for helping me out, they even sent me links so i could update drivers to the lastest updates and checked my pc system for any errors .
