Activation Does Not Work Magix Pro 18

I cannot get this activation code to work. I was supposed to get a boxed version that UPS apparently lost or delivered to the wrong address. I am trying to track down what happened to it without success. I notified the seller on eBay that I purchased the software from that it is lost. I need to get this straightened out somehow. Please advise. Thank you.

Please note Magix is the company not the program name.

Are you referring to Vegas Pro 18 - if so then the Vegas products have their own forum see the Important posts at the top of the video forum you have posted in.

If you mean Video Pro X version 18.0.x.x then let me know and I will move the post to the correct part of the forum

Whether Vegas Pro or Video Pro X is what you have purchased a brand new boxed version or pre-used?

If a new boxed version than you need to pursue this further with the seller.

However from the comment :

This would suggest you have received a serial number and have downloaded the program from Magix and are trying to activate.

If so then you will have got one of 2 error messages:-

Error -14 - which during a MAGIX product activation, generally means that you're putting a valid MAGIX serial number into the wrong MAGIX product or version/edition.

Error -24 - the serial number has already been registered to another email address

In case of an error -14 check that you have downloaded the correct program and version for the serial number you have

In the case of error -24 and the product is pre-used, then the seller must deactivate the installation(s) they had - if you get no response from them then ask for a refund and purchase the program direct from Magix.

Yes, I guess it is Vegas Pro but that is the information that I received in the e-mail from the eBay seller. I used the download link I was provided and the serial number that I receive in a corresponding e-mail. It is a code for a trial version. That is why I don't particularly like download versions of any software. I was hoping the box version would be more likely to work but as I said, it has somehow been lost.

As this is a Vegas product and its the wrong forum, you have been advised @johnebaker to take the matter up with the eBay seller or through ebay direct if no refund issued.
