Error 2147163967 - Acid365 can not install C++ 2013. Have followed procedures from previous post on this error and have installed C++ 2013 independently. Updater and Celemony installed easily but ACID gets stuck on the C++ install. Any advice would be great!
I have the same problem with Acid Music Studio that I purchased through the Humble Bundle. I had installed a trial version 11.0.10 (Build 21) back last October. Now after activating the software with my license the software keeps telling me that there is an update available. I try and download the update both before running software or after existing program and I get the same error -2147163967. I see that I have several instances of C++ 2013 installed in Add Remove Programs. I even tried installing the redistribution from Microsoft. I did find something here about making an edit to the Registry for Acid Music Studio 8 with similar issues - https://www.magix.info/us/forum/acid-pro-8-failed-to-install-microsoft-visual-c-2017-redistributable--1229864/ Could someone from Magix get this fixed. It is sad that an issue back in 2019 I still impacting installation in 2021? It seems that lessons could have been learned from those experiences.
