Why isnt ACID PRO never a qualified or supported DAW for virtual instruments. When ever I want to purchase a virtual instrument, almost every other DAW is listed except ACID PRO, why is that?
@H.J It makes sense for every plugin developer to only test the most used DAWs. There are so many different programs out there with VST support that it isn't possible to test everything. ACID has a very small user base.
Acid supports the VSTi standard most instruments are built on. If the application is a VSTi, and it's standard, it should work, whether Acid is listed specifically or not. There are exceptions to that, e.g. Reason Rack, so I would always suggest download a trial and test first, if possible.
If there is not a trial available maybe someone in this forum will have an answer as to whether it works or not.
