acid pro 9 - paying monthly want to purchase

I signed up for Acid Pro 9 for 3 months, thinking I'd buy it if I liked it. Didn't expect to get automatically charged for another month before making purchase decision. Now, I want to purchase. Does this require a new download and 149.00 or can I purchase software without having to re-download, and NO LONGER get charged the monthly fee? Is this an "upgrade" rather than a new purchase?
