If you get error "2147163964" or the message "Download is incorrect" during installation, you may have a problem with the "Microsoft .Net Framework". You can troubleshoot this problem by first checking that the "Microsoft .Net Framework" is active on your system.
"Microsoft .Net Framework" is integrated into the operating system and can be enabled through "Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows Features On or Off". We recommend that you check both boxes for "Microsoft .Net Framework" and then click "Apply" and "OK". Please note that you may need to restart the system for these changes to occur.
Uninstall "Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables " through the "Control Panel > Programms and Features".
Restart the computer.
Download and install all "Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables".
Oh, I see from the visual aide on the magix site, that the framework is correct. I have sever C++ redistributables, which one should I remove and reinstall exactly?
@Mark-Martucci ACID uses the 2013 redistributables. If you uninstall them ACID will reinstall them if you run the installation program again.
.NET 3.5 is an earlier version than .NET 4.8. In not sure which version the installer needs. But it looks like you enabled both so that should be okay.
@Mark-Martucci I would guess you need to reinstall ACID from scratch, not just the update. But you can also try to install the 2013 redistributable from the download link above first. If it doesn't help, I would suggest you uninstall the 2013 redistributables and ACID and then reinstall ACID.
I updated my .net framework to match yours, but I still get the same exact error when I try to update. 4 months on with the same issue. Very frustrating...
