Acid Pro 10 installation

larry-stoltenberg wrote on 1/28/2021, 5:14 PM

I purchased the software today. Melodyne would not install. Also, when I started the program, error messages were received for each plug-in from the Yamaha Basic FX Suite, six error messages total. I really don't need Melodyne or the Basic FX Suite. How can I stop the error messages each time I start the program? Thanks for any help on this.

Larry, most likely, Acid is rejecting the Yamaha FXs. If you are able to get into Acid, go to Plugin explorer and remove the path so Acid won't scan it on startup. Try this first, if this fails, there is a cache file you can delete but I wouldn't go there just yet.

AmanSingh, I'll try what you mentioned. Thanks.

Larry, also, these yamaha plugins, are they 64 bit?

AmanSingh, they may be 32-bit.

Hey Larry, unfortunately, I don't believe Acid does well with 32bit as it is now a 64bit application. But if you must use those plugins, you might want to try Jbridge. I think there is a trial version you can try first to see if that solves the problem.
