Greetings
This is really a continuance of my post nearly half way down this page https://www.magix.info/us/forum/release-movie-edit-pro-2022-your-experiences-your-movies--1281607/ which is the original post about MEP 2022. I was going to post this query there but decided against it (as you may have noticed!) so apologies if that's wrong.
I've had a major problem trying to create a slideshow with initially 254 photos - a number comfortably handled by MEP 2021 and indeed mostly by MEP 2022. This morning MEP 2022 went through the process of (apparently) loading every photo into memory with 100% disk usage; the amount of available RAM being almost 10Gb so I can only imagine that Virtual Ram(?) was being used. When I tried to modify a photo MEP 2022 stuttered and paused for an average of 3 seconds before letting me perform another task. Re-converting the pictures gave a slight improvement.
Other photos that are much larger in size don't normally give this problem.
The exif data for the SLOW photo:

I don't really understand any of the data here but 3 lines in each list strike me as curious -
SLOW - Resolution Unit: None X Resolution: 100 Y Resolution: 100
GOOD - Resolution Unit: inches X Resolution: 72 Y Resolution: 72
I know my system is now below par but it does handle 4K with no problem and most of the photo work I do. I've already asked my son to build me a bespoke system but that won't be until Easter 2002 at the earliest, apparently a new kitchen is far more important!!
Any Ideas?
