Hi Bernard and welcome to the user to user forums.

As far as I'm aware the only two (non pro studio) video editing programs that support 7.1 surround sound are Adobe Premier Pro and DaVinci Resolve (Full paid for version). I think this is down to Dolby Digital licensing limitations and whether the audio channel mixer strips have the additional channels available.
