@kemerin-s MP3 files are just normal audio files. There is no information stored inside them that allows a program to recreate a project file. If you don't have the project file backups you are out of luck.

I can't say for sure, but some software do not readily supply an MP3 codec. Maybe acquire the LAME codec? Again, not sure if it needs to be manually configured.

@Steven-Wool Steven, you export audio using File>Export Movie> Audio as WAV or MP3 If you're going to edit it, I'd suggest you export as WAV. You need to update your program too; the current version is 21.0.2.138. Go to Help>Update online
