  [Solved] set a start marker after a song introduction instead of at beginning
  The MP3 song I want to use for my photostory has too long an intro and I want to start the music after this to begin when the photostory begins. The manual says you can set a start marker after a song intro but not just how to do this. Does anyone

  @Ken-Looi MP3 Deluxe has many problems running on modern Windows 10 versions and background services (FreeDB) are not online anymore. I wouldn't recommend it. It's old and was basically replaced by music streaming services and their catalogues.

  @christianf7  my files have a standard sample rate Unfortunately, for mp3s there is no such thing as a standard sample rate, unless you mean they actually are 48kHz. You're right, there is no standard like for CDs. I rather meant a common sample

  @Servondo-Mark Have you tried "Reset and clear cached data"? (in the 'File' menu). This has been known to resolve MP3 problems. If that does not fix the issue, reinstall Sound Forge Pro using a third-party uninstaller/cleaner like Revo Uninstall
