What happens when life breaks down?

When there is systemic contradiction?
My name symbolized all that was corrupt to society.
His name symbolized all that was pure.

And I was being hailed in the embrace of the man who was pure.

And these inviolable sanctities were preserved in those ten words.

And it is the de-sacralization of all of these that has put us in the mess that we find ourselves.

Isn't it true, alas it is much worse.

A person may end up believing in anything.

You know, if that human acceptance does so much for you and me.

Think of what it is when God himself puts his arms around you and says

"Welcome home".

What love is this?

It is God's love.

And no other love can be defined until that love has properly been understood.

If you can’t make the trip to my studio yourself, don’t worry I now have my brand new Online Mastering Service. Many of my customers are happy to leave me to it, and my wide-ranging experience ensures that you can trust me to make sound judgements on your behalf – no pun intended!

The services on offer include both attended and unattended (online) mastering, vinyl cutting, re-mastering, editing and restoration. For further details please message me here.

A gorgeous room full of lots of lovely equipment isn’t going to cut the mustard unless it’s in the hands of an experienced creative engineer who understands your music and how to get the results you’re looking for.

I personally have been mastering for over 14 years now.
i have remixed and engineered for alice deejay.

Please note home mastering and studio mastering are not the same. This is a misconception. the process is different, and while the sound of the polished track may seem the same to the NAKED EAR so to speak actually sound different to the trained ear.

THE TRACKS I WILL BE UPLOADING WILL BE ONLY "HOME" MASTERING. (fast process). music maker defaults are ok but not polished.

most people are not concerned about the mastering there more comcerned about the FEEL.

i do not work for free so please do not sent me tracks to be mastered (for free). my time is not cheap.

there are some rules that are just plain idiotic. What are some examples of this behavior, why do people do it? Is it because (This is my assumption) they are afraid of the unknown? They are afraid of taking risk? Or is something that happens during the "nurturing" phase of life with overprotective parents. Maybe it's even a genetic thing.

IF I DO NOT LIKE THE MUSIC I WILL "NOT"  WORK WITH IT.

I ONLY EVER WORK WITH MUSIC I PERSONALLY ENJOY.
THIS WAY MY PROFESSIONAL APPROACH CAN BE MET TO VERY HIGH STANDARDS.

Hello Alan,

I like your sound! It makes the difference!

Don't know why, but when it started my first reaction to the drum beat was 'Hey Mickey'.  Now that says fun immediately.  I know it's different but it's got that same energy.  Great stuff Alan.  I'm making a note though - you actually admitted to almost liking something you did!!!!!!!  Hang on I need to sit down.

If you want some dumb suggestions I'm sure I can up with a few.

Hi Alan:

There you go again, dude!  I wish you would cease and desist from trashing your stuff, man.  Obviously, you thought enough of this track to send it out, so let's get on the ball.

My take?  I enjoyed this song.  And, you want to know something?  It's not nearly as atrocious as you think.  So there! <lol>

Assembled well. Sounds good so far. The sound of the drums

reminds me a little bit of the old yamaha drum machines.

Hi!

Interesting...I personally don't like the Hi-Hat which comes on my headphones' left side...sometimes you use it too often...

But nevertheless it is a good song...Mix of Synthies and Rock-Elements...Liked it...The drum is great and powerful!

I miss a melody which brings life into the song...and I'm no real friend of Samples...Towards the end it seems that the song stucks and a small part is repeated like the record is defective...

The end is strange...this guitar plays too often the same notes...not a nice ending...I would have put a delay on the end and let it fade out...

All the best!

Hi Alan

"Hey Mickey", Yep, as Nick said, that is the drum intro.  I'm glad I read the comments first or it would be bugging me all day what the intro sounded like.  (Thanks Nick!) I think you have a couple of melodies going....The main one with the solo guitar and another with the panned, higher pitched guitars. At 1:22, the hi hat was a bit over done with the triple hit at the end of each measure but you saved it just in time with the entrance of the guitar melody.

I think it's pretty good, Alan

Can hear you have had fun and can agree with you on the points of the dear Simon.

All said about pop, I think you have made some passeges that have real power and could be used to a yet a gould nugget. Really love the lead in 0:55. Some good mixes.

Happy.

Here to listen be inspired and improve own skill in music making and mastering etc.

Mostly make music with a movie ongoing so much of the tracks will be more soundtrack'ish than actual club/dance orientated. Sadly Iam yet to un-skilled in the process of making the actual moving pictures/movies.

I really appreciate the nice feedback. Makes a happy Happy.

Must admit that my deutsc/german is stinking and cant translate comments in that launguage very good.

Please keep comments in english, unless its very very bad critism, then please use Deutsc ;P

My movie projects are located on youtube as I cant get to upload here.

Please veiw and comment.

Good arrangement !!! I like it !! Perfect base for a song !!

Sandro Glavina is an italian composer, named L'Uomo e L'Ombra. The choice of the name derives from the title of the album "L'uomo e l'ombra" of the band "Abstract Music Nuova Esistenza", an experimental group founded by Sandro Glavina together with his friends in the mid-70s.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. Sandro isn't a professional musician, composes and plays music just for fun, but his works reach a good outcome, pleasant to listen. L'UOMO E L'OMBRA

Hi Al,

Don't keep underestimating yourself, give yourself some credit. This track is OK.  Sure, I've heard better from you, but this effort sails along quite nicely.  It has rythym and nice guitar work.  Also, it is nicely balanced.

4*

Good on 'ya mate,

Gryami.

Ok Alan,

I'm going to speak from the heart here.

I'm on the bandwagon too here.  This song is actually pretty good.  If you are doing things for fun, you should be enjoying what you are doing.  This song is really good.  You apparently felt good enough with what you have done with this to share it with us.  It's easier to give credit than to take or receive it...I know, but you are good at what you do.  Accept that and believe it.  There is no "Putting Yourself Down" in my circle.    If you don't feel like it's good enough and flawed, wait until you fix it, post it, and be proud of it and promote it.  I love your work as do many others in this community.  From one musician to another...have fun and enjoy the process!!!

Hi Alan,

I liked it! Well developed, intersting melody and fun arrangement. Can't go wrong.

I agree with you regarding the music industry, the so called "talent" shows are just churning out prefab artists in an effort to generate advertising profits. But, there is still some good stuff out there on independant labels as well as some artists that are not driven by profit and retain their creative integrity.

One of the reasons I joined Magix was to listen to real people creating real music. You definitely fall into that category and I enjoy listening to what you put out.

Keep up the good work!

Best Regards,

Stu
