Thankyou for the tutorial, I would like to expand the range of collages I can use, but I've been unable to find the Collages folder on Win 7.- Open the \Collages folder. On my XP PC that's at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MAGIX\Movie Edit Pro 2014 Premium\VideoEffects\Collage\ but Win 7, 8 (and soon 10) systems will be different.

Anyone able to help?  Thanks!

@terrypin

I have to admit, I never got around to making my own collage and saving it for reuse until now. It worked perfectly in VPX. I thought that there was some trick to replacing the template images with new images by renaming them. I was wrong.

My niece visited last week and left me 500 photos, portrait mode, to turn into a video. There are various themes, like a dozen or so photos of a Church, then the next site, etc. so I thought that I would use collages. The only stock collage that fits has 3 side-by-side portrait photos with a width of 635 at full height; mine are 810 wide at full height, so part was always truncated. I created a carousel type of collage with 3 photos, smaller left and right, full-size in the middle. Worked perfectly.

I'm now inspired to create a few more.

Thanks,

John CB

Hi John,

Thanks, pleased to hear of your success.

Careful - I was spending more time making new collages at one stage than creating videos!
