Sandro Glavina is an italian composer, named L'Uomo e L'Ombra. The choice of the name derives from the title of the album "L'uomo e l'ombra" of the band "Abstract Music Nuova Esistenza", an experimental group founded by Sandro Glavina together with his friends in the mid-70s.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. F.R.H., Very interesting; kind of reminds me of a soundtrack for some kind of battle and drama. Amazing you can compose a classical symphony so movingly I assume with your instruments in your studio. A pretty and eloquent piece of music! VME! CBW 💯👍👍👍👍👍

@Clay-Brian-WilsonHi Clay-Brian I must disappoint you, I do not have many instruments at home, only ac-guitar and Oxygen 49 midi keyboard. I actually use instruments from sound pools that I cut and adjust so that they accurately express what I feel and then put them together in normal music maker manner, track by track. It obviously takes a bit, in fact quite a lot of time, but absolutely not as much, as if I myself handled all the strict instruments, brass and similar piano etc. etc. - this is how I have made music for over 22 years, although I probably can play on my guitar, then I have not yet recorded anything for magix on it only for my reel machine :) But nice that you like the music and thank you very much for your comment.
