Goodbye Yellow Brick Road by Elton John hit the airwaves in 1973 and is well known around the world. There's probably not one person here that hasn't heard this song. I tried to stay true to the way the song was written with just a few alterations of my own.

Thanks for listening

Trish

Well Trish !! although the song reminds me of my beloved, it was 1973 and I was in the Navy ....

@luigi-vigliotta. Ok. I think very highly of those who serve their country in the military. Doesn't matter to me what country it is. I guess this means you were away from your beloved when the song was popular and it brings bad memories to you when you hear it?

No Trish, it reminds me of when I was young, when love exploded inside my heart, when I was doing crazy things to reach it (I escaped from the arsenal, I traveled 2 hours on the first leg and 2 hours on the way back, by train), just to be able to see it , hugging and kissing .... (then she became my wife and the mother of my 3 children), so beautiful memories ...

@luigi-vigliotta awww that is a sweet story. I'm glad it had a happy ending ❤️ and thanks for clarifying

WoW ! ! ! This is fantastic, I like this better than Elton's. It sounds great with out the vocals the way you play the melody lines are beautifully done. Sounds a bit classical to me this way. Very well done and a joy to hear.
