woooooooooonderful !!! - ciao da sandro

Sandro Glavina is an italian composer, named L'Uomo e L'Ombra. The choice of the name derives from the title of the album "L'uomo e l'ombra" of the band "Abstract Music Nuova Esistenza", an experimental group founded by Sandro Glavina together with his friends in the mid-70s.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. Sandro isn't a professional musician, composes and plays music just for fun, but his works reach a good outcome, pleasant to listen. L'UOMO E L'OMBRA

What I heard clearly was a single piano sound at the end of this earthly creation. As I listened my mind wondered in past memories of Pink Floyd recordings. Darkside mainly. I think that now as I type after listening. And somehow I am relieved of a stress that has bothered me all day. That piano sound still resonates with me even though the recording has stopped for many minutes now. I sit here wondering. still

Xanevik - So glad that "...Hear" had a positive impact on your day. My work has a great deal to do with happenstance and I get a thrill when I read reviews like yours. I have songs posted on MAGIX that I will not listen too as they contain sound from "beyond" the reality/dimension that I experience. One example is "EVIL SKIPPY" that involves a beautiful Jack Russel puppy that was killed by a passing car. In that tune, I can hear the horrific sound that the dog made when it was hit.

Thank you Sandro - It's nice to know that you enjoy my work - Although you would never know it, I spent about 20 hours+ on this work... the idea came to me in a dream.

DID YOU HEAR THAT? Reminds me, Bill of Frank Zappa who very early in his life played the spokes of a bike I think on the Jack Parr show or something like that. I do hear as Kevin said The Pink Floyd effects with the voices but music that is of another dimension really! Very interesting, Bill. The most intriguing piece I've heard today from you the release I hear in the music does have kind of a calming effect, man. It feels like music within music to me. Experimental to say the very least and your title says it all, Bill! VME! Clay Brian Wilson 10,000 Suns! 💯👍👍👍👍👍

Thank you for the review. I saw Zappa in Sarnia, ON. When we walked into the venue, there were a bunch of people on stage playing with Tinker Toys. At the same time, they played a recording of animal sounds... really crazy. Then, on cue, they all began jamming. The next day, someone set fire to the place and it burned to the ground!!!
