Last night or actually very early this morning I sat at my favorite keyboard and started playing while recording. As some of you know, I lost my daughter last September. This month is going to be very difficult for my husband and myself. Every month has been difficult in the past year but the anniversary month is perhaps the hardest. I wrote a song for my daughter, Rebecca and now I have written a song for myself......A Mother's Song.

omg sorry to hear of your loss, I lost my cousin Thomas many years ago on christmas eve, so as you can gather those xmas years were and are still hard for us all and we continue to remember those precious moments when he was alive. never forgotten. What a beautiful piece from the heart and soul. A mothers song indeed, I am sure she is listening right now with a smile on her face. 🙏🌈❤️

my dear Trish, I didn't know about your stab in the heart ... it must have been all very sad, indescribable. In November I lost my mother, after so much suffering .... but losing a daughter ....
your music is the right expression of the search for serenity. a big bear hug

Wow. I'm so sorry for your loss. That must be the worst thing to go thru. Your beautiful music shines on and can sooth the soul. Very nice piano playing with such passion and so emotional. As Todd Rundgren once sang "Time heals the wounds no-one can see".......
