Youtube upload yield very poor quality...why?

I'm using Pro16+ Demo...and love the program as compared to what I was doing...BUT...I've been unable to acheive a proper upload to Youtube.

I've tried the MM option, and various Exorts to file, then upload.

Is there a definitive guide to this? Please advise...thanks!

export as mpg or avi or mp4 on your hard drive, then export it to YouTube. NEVER directly upload it using the program.
