Xara Web Designer Premium Installation problem

Hello, I just bought the above software (from Magix) and am having recurring problems installing it. This is the first time in the 22 something years I've experienced any problems in downloading software. I get two messages, which don't have numbered error codes by the way -

1. Magix installation manager

An error occurred during transfer which caused the installation to stop. This problem can most likely be fixed by restarting the transfer of the installer application.

- I've tried installing 3 x times! After each failed attempt I (obviously) removed the program and began the download afresh, then the installation.

When attempting to open NEW - website templates, I get this message -

2. 'BIG X in CIRCLE!'

This setup file is corrupted. If you download this file from the internet please download again.

- Well, I don't want to try for a 4th time, unless I do something differently!

Note: My registration/serial code is all accepted.

Please help. Otherwise will have to reluctantly ask for a full refund.

Item 1

The stopping of the download is often caused by connectivity issues that can occur anywhere in the chain from the sending server to your computer, be it with your Internet Service provider, the type of connection eg using 4G or 5G, or your Antivirus detecting a false positve with a block of data as it is being received..

Item 2 - 'When attempting to open NEW - website templates,'

Assuming this is occurring when trying to access the local content - try disabling your Antivirus/Firewall Folder protection feature temporarily to see if the program connects to the local gallery, if this works then you need to add a permanent exception for the program to your Antivirus program.

If the error occurs when trying to access the Online Content then check you Antivirus/Firewall is not blocking theprogram from accessing the Internet.
