Since version 16 I have had constant crash when preparing the website for upload.

Until 3 weeks ago my system was running smooth and no uplpad problems for more than 10 years.

2 weeks ago I had to change to a new pc. so this could be part of my trouble.

I thionk my internet security could be part of my troubles. I use AVG pro, but I have taken steps to allow Magix programs to connect to the web.

I mis some good ideas.

Check that the Windows Defender Protected Folders function is not blocking access to the appropriate folder(s) where you are preparing/publishing the website to on your computer before uploading.

Hi again!

Today I started looking at my security settings, I even switched from AVG to Bullguard, but no succes. Then I tried to make a clean install of the april version of the software, which I fortunately had saved to harddisk.

bUT VERY IMPORTANT - , I did not install the latest suggested update. Now the program runs perfectly. This proves, that the error is hidden in the latest update, which must be corrected by xara/magix asap.

I look forward to se the anser from Magix support.

Please note this is a user to user forum, not Magix support, so it is unlikely that a Magix support person will see your post .

I did actually open a support request.

Magix admitted, they knew about this error and that they were working om a solution.

Next step was, that I received an offer from Magix Sales to upgrade - and this solved my problem.

I raised this problem in tyhe Forum, since I find it importabt to inform other users of this software, since Magix dom't find it necessary.
