Bought Rescue Your Videotapes 9 - installed onto windows 10 PC. Updated and did all was required. Saved 2 vid tapes from a panasonic NV-HV61 onto hard drive for later editing. Switched off computer for a few days. Returned to do more only to find it says 'connect the analog recording device to your computer and turn it on' with only Back available. It is connected, it is on and i'm frustrated.

Hi, welcome to the Magix forums.

Has your Windows 10 had any recent updates, especially the 1803 "major" one, between the time that RYVT was working and when it wasn't? Unfortunately, this latest version of Win 10 does seem to have created rather more than its fair share of problems, especially with audio and video programs.

Thank you for the reassurance, if not a solution, glad it isn't something I did. 😅

The Solution:I eventually was able to continue after I uninstalled RYVT and then reinstalled.
