Why since updating to Windows 8.1 will my Photo manager not open in Photostory10 deluxe

I have updated to Windows 8.1 and Photostory Deluxe 10 will not operate. I have run the disc in repair mode but PhotoManager will still not open.

Hi,

What version of photo manager are you running? According to the windows 8 compatibility center, versions 7 and 10 may not be compatible while versions 9, 11, and 12 seem to be. Check it out for yourself at

Windows 8.1 is known to break some programs when you do the update from 8.0.

The fix I found works is to run the program installer again and select the Repair option.
