Why isnt importing working properly anymore?

Ive been using it for most of the day and made two songs. then last night, we started it up again to record another track but when we import any audio file it sounds like it was recorded with a cell phones microphone. Ive tried unin-reinstalling updating audio driver ect but still having the issue, even the metronome sound is sounding this way. What can i do to fix this?

Well, even though most of us do not believe this, as the program cannot change itself, you must have changed a setting, perhaps installed an update, which affected the program, or play. Here's a simple check for you. Open the program and go into Program Settings by depressing Y on your keyboard. Under Audio/MIDI check which audio driver you are using, and try a dfferent one.
