Hi,

Keep in mind that Movie Edit Pro stores the information about the location of your source files as absolute file paths in the project/movie meta files you're saving. So, you can't just move your projects (even if you do include all the source files) to a new environment, as the program will just no longer be able to find the required files under the locations stored in the project/movie files. One thing you should explore if you need to back up or move projects in the future is the "Backup copy" sub menu in the "File" menu of Movie Edit Pro 14+. Here you can, among other things, dump your entire project (with all associated files) into one single hard drive folder. This folder can then be copied across to another computer. The references in the project/movie meta files will be changed in a manner that they will reload anywhere as everything is contained in the same directory.
