why does the lyrics from one song end up on another song i made

once i record a song on mmm14 i save it then i will start an finish another song an save it then when i go back to the first song i did an try to listin to it the vocals have been replaced by the vocals from the second song i did losen my work from the first song

Hi

When you have recorded the vocals for a song, saved the project and if required exported the completed song are you:

Deleting the first song and music from the timeline and then recording a second?
Opening a new project and recording the second song, adding the music, saving the project with a different name?
If neither of the above what is the sequence / workflow you are using to create the song?
